Little bit of This and That

Partial custom, partial purchase. This quad contains one of my favorite VHTF HG pinks, Shimmertime. She sent 2 samples thinking they were 1/4-1/2 tsp. Low and behold... they were < 1/4 tsp. The labels had the recognizable font from thebodyneeds. This is probably my last straw with TBN as they seem to get skimpier and skimpier with their "1/4 tsp" samples.

Can you say holy grail?

This MUAer chose her colors well, especially with the ever-so-HTF LE Deckchair and Coco. Both being my own HGs and hers as well. On a side note, beware of fake Deckchairs that are strictly pink from 2007. Real Deckchair is a true peach pink from 2005 (A15). Chocolate Brown and Tan are the most requested as well, being part of the permanent line where more people are familar with. This quad is love.

MAC meets HIP Kohl

Some were customs, couple were swapped for, and one is missing, Blonde's Gold. She brought on a challenge that almost threw me completely off. Kohl liner turned cake liner. It took about 2 hours to open, press, AND repress L'Oreal HIP Kohl. I underestimated the task after a couple MUAers posted like it was nothing. It will save you a lot of time if you break off the plastic part from the beginning, THEN pry out the stopper. HIP Kohl needs several hours more for drying time vs regular MAC pigments. The texture also takes twice as long to mix and bind with 91% isopropyl alcohol.

Neapolitan Ice Cream with Sprinkles

Hellooo Dream Pallette! Talk about 15 scoops of Neapolitan ice cream with 4 colorful sprinkles on top. Doesn't it look delicious? This is my favorite project as of yet. A lot of time, effort, and dedication was put into both palettes. All filled with HGs beyond HGs. Majority were custom from this Queen of Pigments stash, couple were purchased from here. I didn't expect it all to flow so nicely together till the end.

An Early Christmas

This sweet and friendly Pressed Like Shadow customer cannot stop staring at her pretty quads. A various collection of different colors, my favorites are Circa Plum, Deep Blue Green, and Vanilla. Softwash Grey is such an odd color. It's not so much a grey but really a purplish bluish grey. I haven't had the chance to try my own yet but will do soon.

This is one gorgeous MAC starter palette for a fellow MUA/ST member. A lot of these colors were a first of my own as well, but in loose form rather than pressed. She fast forwarded ahead and went for the gold. A couple of my faves are Sunnydaze, Deep Blue Green, Jardin Aires, Circa Plum, Violet, Gold Mode, and Gold Stroke.

Ironically this lovely MUAer purchased a dupe quad from a previous custom. Although I didn't have Dark Soul at the time, only Tea Time. Sweet Sienna, Mauvement, and Vanilla are some of the top most pressed colors if you haven't noticed by now. Definite HG material!
